Memphis Youth Athletics is excited to announce the 2023 season of Team 901!
Post Season Cross Country for ES and MS
Team 901 is a post-season cross-country team representing student athletes from the Memphis / Mid-South Area. Students in grades 3-8 may participate. Team 901 gives student athletes the opportunity to experience competitive cross country running and give them a chance to compete in a national competition. Team 901 is planning to race in the National Youth Cross Country Coaches National Championships, which will be held in Louisville, Kentucky on November 18th. The practices will start the week of October 30th, and be held 3-4 times a week. Area coaches will hold practices at various locations around Shelby County.
The fee is $100 per student athlete. This fee covers the race registration fee, as well as the team singlet. Any athlete from the Memphis / Mid-South Region is eligible to participate.
Practice Schedule
Practices will be offered 3 to 4 times a week prior to competing in the National Race. Practice locations will be announced at a later date.
Practices will start the week after the State Championships.
The total fee to be on this team and to participate in this race is $100. This covers $25 National race registration fee, Team 901 uniform top, t-shirt, practices, team meal before National Meet, and insurance. Travel costs and hotel are not included in the fee.
You also have the option to purchase a Team 901 Tech Shirt for $10 and a Team 901 Hoodie for $16.

Once practice locations are added, athletes may attend whichever practice location works best for them. The entire group will meet together on Saturdays.
